We are delighted to extend an invitation to the 9th annual Istanbul MS Days 2024, taking place from October 16th to 20th in Sarıgerme, Dalaman, Mugla, TURKIYE.
Described by attendees as a significant global MS event, the Istanbul MS Days had its inaugural event in November 2013. Bringing together world-renowned MS experts as faculty members and with its interactive structure discussing the most fore front topics in MS “Istanbul MS Days” now became a traditional MS event of the year.
This think-tank event offers an excellent platform for networking and sharing the latest research in a collegial atmosphere. We believe that the chosen theme every year allows us to focus on some updated concepts in MS and related disorders through presentations from leading international experts, often presenting new and unpublished data followed by interactive discussions in a friendly environment.
The theme for the 2024 meeting is “Translating Science into Clinical Practice in Multiple Sclerosis”.
The scientific program commences on Wednesday afternoon on the 16th of October with a segment dedicated to Turkish contributions, preceding the official opening. The international component of the Istanbul MS Days IX will occur from Thursday, October 17th, to the evening of Saturday, October 19th. There will be a separate introductory session on “From Poser Criteria to refined disease definitions of 2024 and beyond in inflammatory demyelinating diseases” and a special session on “Treating the whole spectrum” including non-MS inflammatory central nervous system diseases such as NMOSD & MOGAD. The meeting will conclude with the special “Istanbul MS Days Lecture” that we have established this year to be given by a distinguished MS specialist who has dedicated their life in the field of MS.
“Istanbul MS Days” is now an independent scientific organization and will continue to be as such. The industry’s contribution is absolutely unrestricted. The satellites which will take place during Istanbul MS Days are required to contribute further to the meeting’s scientific structure. The official body organizing this meeting is “The Neurological Research Support Society” and it’s endorsed by “The Turkish Multiple Sclerosis Society”.
The meeting also provides an opportunity for you to present your work in neuroscience/MS as oral and poster presentations. The abstract submission deadline is September 1st, 2024.
